Stade Scores a Top Ten In Tennessee

This past weekend, the Stade Motorsports 17 team travelled to Nashville, Tennessee for the last race of the season. Josh entered the biggest field of pro model cars that he’s ever raced in, starting with 37 cars for the weekend. When it came time to race, there were 35 prolate models that took the grid for qualifying. Josh would qualify position 20 out of 35 at the start of the race. The car was a little free but in the long run, it would finally come to Josh as he would race his way back up to eighth, at the checkered flag, he was all over seventh place. The team brought the car home in one piece with a top 10 finish. The team was happy with an eighth place finish for Joshs first all American 100 pro event. following the race on Saturday night, ASA national stars tour asked Josh if he would participate in the all American 400 race event on Sunday Josh would start 28 out of the 29 cars. The original plan was to start and park, but after further consideration, he logged as many laps as he could trying to keep the car in one piece and would ultimately finish 17th overall out of the 29 Car field. Josh had no new tires to start the race, and all of the ones being used were from the previous days race, all used. Josh would be the highest finishing Pro Late Model in a field of Super Late models. To end his weekend he logged 400 race laps, competed in his first all American 400 and move forward from both starting qualified positions. I would like to thank the tremendous amount of effort this team had put in from the shop in Canada to the track in Nashville. It’s been long hours for all members and the families involved with us. This completes our 2024 race season- stay tuned to see what is in store for next year. Thanks you : Jeff Gotelaer for spotting !
